Still here...

I want to post more often. I really do. I wake up with the best intensions... then get lost in the words on the page. The art in the lines. And before I know it, it's 12:24 in the morning, my eyes are stinging and my fingers can't find the keys any longer without hitting extras along the way...

... but the story continues. =) Fighting Resistance is about to break the 100 page mark. It seems a long time coming for an middle grade effort, what with being scaled down in many aspects compared to the other Destinies stories. But it's moving along, getting to the best bits now I think. The final confrontations and realizations. It may take another 15-20 pages, but then it'll be a wrap. Complete. And will then be the third Mirnthian story I have written these last three years.

Along the way I've done some art for it's pages. 4 pieces. One which I posted earlier, 3 more which I quite like. And I have ideas for the other 8 I will need.

So far, I'd have to say, that though it's taken longer than I would have thought, this experiment of a 'short story to whet appetites' has been all in all a wonderful one. But it's not over yet...

... not until I can look up at the clock after a day of cramming words, at 12:29 am, and say: I'm Done!
