Ok, so I didn't paint this...Renoir did. But it's of the 'Pont Neuf' bridge in Paris, France...where the latest story I've just finished the rough first draft of takes place...at just about the same time as this was painted. It shows the 'new bridge' as what it was in the late 1800's...a way to travel through Paris from the left to the right bank (of the river).
My story, 'Twists in Fate' is finally done. Well, at least I've finished the first draft, as I said...which is a huge thing for me personally...I started it six years ago. It sits now at roughly 350 pages, and awaits it's first tear down...ahem...editing. I can't wait to see it again, as I'm taking a much needed break from it. But, I do look forward to reading what my best friend, to whom I dedicated the first novel I ever started to, says in it's margins. She is a great critiquer of work, and I know the story will only grow from her thoughts.
Thanks, Laura...Love Ya!
